REFHYNE 2 Workshop – Bilbao, Spain

We’re excited to invite you to our second REFHYNE 2 workshop, taking place on the 22nd and 23rd of June 2026 in Bilbao, Spain, hosted by Repsol and Alba Emission Free Energy at the EIC – Energy Intelligence Center. The workshop will take place on across two days and can be joined either in person or online.

The event will feature presentations and panel discussions on the role of hydrogen and renewable hydrogen in refineries, challenges and opportunities when investing in renewable hydrogen production, the importance of the cooperation with regulators and institutions and the development, technical elements, key learnings, and achievements of the REFHYNE 2 project.

The event will feature presentations and panel discussions on the project’s technology, its implementation in the context of market realities, the Basque Hydrogen Corridor, as well as policy impacts, business models, investment opportunities, and market outlook. It will also include a networking session to facilitate exchange among participants, and an optional site visit to the Energy Intelligence Center (EIC) and the Petronor Refinery.
